Digi International Elevates Kevin C. Riley to Chief Operating Officer

MINNETONKA, Minn., Jan. 7, 2016 – Digi International®, (NASDAQ: DGII, www.digi.com), a leading global provider of mission-critical machine-to-machine (M2M) and IoT connectivity products and services, today announced it has promoted Kevin C. Riley to chief operating officer effective immediately. Previously, Mr. Riley served as Digi’s senior vice president, global sales.

President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Konezny stated, “This appointment recognizes the role Kevin already plays as head of global sales for the company. Kevin has been instrumental in restructuring our sales organization and providing leadership that has led to profitable growth. He has been a critical member of Digi’s leadership team since 2013. Kevin will manage our field operations, global sales, marketing, channel management, customer support functions and our newly acquired Digi Cold Chain business for the company. We continue to provide more focus and support as a customer-led organization.” Konezny continued, “The chief operating officer role integrates these functions and will help us be more responsive and accountable to our customers and channel partners.”

Previously, Mr. Riley served as senior vice president and general manager of five global business units for Infor and was vice president and general manager for Oracle’s UPK Global Business Unit. Mr. Riley is a graduate of Old Dominion University, College of Business and Public Administration, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Marketing.
