Digi Connect IT Mini allows for console management of a remote serial port, and can serve as a full-function router for failover between Ethernet and cellular. With built-in Cat-M1 connectivity, it has one RS232 serial RJ45 port and one 10/100 Ethernet ports, with a USB port for connecting to IT infrastructure equipment with a USB console port to give users multiple cellular connectivity options. IT departments can now turn to out-of-band (OOB) management with console servers as a reliable back-up solution, as IT network engineers can use OOB to remotely reboot, reconfigure and re-image key assets, even if the primary data network is down.
