Digi Connect IT 16/48 allows for the console management of remote serial ports, and can serve as a full-function router for failover between Ethernet and cellular. It has 16 or 48 RS232 serial RJ45 ports and two 10/100/1G Ethernet ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB ports, with an optional Digi CORE plug-in module to give users multiple cellular connectivity options (Cat-M, Cat 1, Cat 4, and Cat 6). IT departments can now turn to out-of-band (OOB) management with console access servers as a reliable back-up solution, so that IT network engineers can use OOB to remotely reboot, reconfigure and re-image key assets, even if the primary data network is down.
